CELEBRATE
The Latina Living Legend Award recognizes the lifetime commitment of a Dallas-Fort Worth area Latina who has distinguished herself through her profession, active community and civic participation, volunteerism, and/or philanthropic endeavors directly benefiting the community-at-large. The ELLA recognizes the accomplishments of Latina professionals making an impact on Latina women and girls in the DFW area while supporting and nurturing a community of rising Latina Living Legends.

ABOUT LLL
Criteria for consideration: The award is presented to a Dallas Fort Worth metro-area Latina who has set a standard of excellence through her life’s work (25+ years) by opening doors, setting the standard, and serving as a catalyst for the nominee’s work that has directly benefited the community-at- large. The nominee’s impact should be measurable, meaningful, and transformative for others within the community.

Criteria for consideration: Nominee must be a Latina professional with a minimum of 7 years of service/impact. The selection committee will further assess applications across multiple factors:

Impact on Latina women and/or girls in the DFW area: leadership and impact through personal, professional or community engagement in their chosen industry / profession, this can include volunteerism, philanthropy, fundraising, mentorship, sponsorship and/or other efforts

Length of service / scope of influence: consideration will be given to both

Recommendation: impact statement(s) provided by someone impacted by the nominee and her work
